Alabama Man Turns Self in Regarding Prentiss Hit and Run
PRENTISS, Miss. (WCBI) — 38-year-old Andreas Shackleford of Alabama turned himself in today in connection to a hit and run incident.
The Saturday hit and run left one Prentiss Police Department officer injured, but he has since been treated and released.
Authorities in conjunction with the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation were investigating the incident.
Shackleford was wanted for allegedly striking the police officer near the intersection of highways 13 and 84.
Shackleford is currently being held in the Jefferson Davis County Jail, and is awaiting his initial court appearance.
