Alabama man dies after single-car crash in Lamar County

LAMAR COUNTY, AL. (WCBI) – An Alabama man is dead after a single-vehicle crash Saturday evening.

Corporal Richard A. Itter with the Alabama Department of Public Safety said 30-year-old Kenneth B. Thomas of Dora, Al died around 6 p.m. Saturday.

Officers said Thomas was traveling on County Road 9, just seven miles south of Vernon, when his truck left the roadway and overturned.

Thomas was pronounced dead at the scene.

Alabama State Troopers are investigating the incident.
