Ala. AG’s Race Brings Big Money, Big Accusations

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) — The race for state attorney general has become one of the most contentious in Alabama this election season.

Republican Attorney General Luther Strange says voters should elect him to a second term because of his record over the last four years.

But Democrat Joe Hubbard says that record is exactly why they should send Strange packing.

Strange and Hubbard face each other in the Nov. 4 election for state attorney general.

The race is one of the toughest of the general election season, with the pair trading accusations over gambling, donors and priorities.
