OKTIBBEHA COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Investigators in Oktibbeha County are trying to determine the cause of several fires this week.

The most recent was yesterday around 4 p.m. at this house on Adaton Self Creek Road.

When firefighters from the Adaton Fire Department got there, the house was fully involved.

The Maben and Central Fire Departments assisted in getting the fire extinguished.

No one was home at the time. No injuries were reported.

There is extensive damage to the house and property.

Oktibbeha County Fire Coordinator Patrick Warren said the fire service has had a busy week putting out grass, car, and structure fires.

He said firefighters responded to three grass fires, two car fires, and a tractor fire Wednesday.

There were no injuries in any of those fires.
