Aberdeen Man Arrested for Possession

MONROE, Miss. (Press Release) — An Aberdeen man was arrested after a routine traffic stop resulted in the discovery of illegal narcotics.

Monroe County Sheriff’s Department Narcotics Unit arrested Kenneth Jenkins, 35, of Aberdeen.

Jenkins has been charged with felony possession of crack cocaine.

The arrest was the result of a traffic stop on Highways 8 and 278.

Bond has not been set, and Jenkins is currently being held at Monroe County Detention Center.
