Aberdeen hosting celebrity game to help improve basketball courts

ABERDEEN, Miss. (WCBI) – Aberdeen wants to improve its basketball courts, so they’re hosting some games.

The parks and recreation department is hosting the Aberdeen Celebrity Game.

Money raised from the event will help resurface the General Young Park basketball courts.

Organizers hope to raise about $11,000.

The goal is to bring-in former and current players from the area to play on several teams.
