Man riding bicycle hit by SUV killed on Highway 82
A man is killed on his bicycle after being hit by an SUV
COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – A man is killed while riding a bicycle down Highway 82.
Lowndes County Coroner Greg Merchant says the accident happened late Saturday night.
The unknown man was riding westbound when he was struck by a westbound SUV.
Merchant tells WCBI the man died at the scene.
Investigators are working to positively identify him.
Columbus police are investigating the accident.
