A log truck driver escaped serious injuries after overturning in Vernon

VERNON, Ala. (WCBI) – A log truck driver escapes serious injury after overturning on Highway 17.

The crash happened at about 1 o’clock Wednesday, December 23rd.

Vernon police shutdown the highway for about an hour and a half while crews worked to clear the scene.

The accident remains under investigation.
