A Few Clouds and Cooler Temperatures In Store
COLUMBUS, Mississippi (WCBI) – A cool and breezy day is in store for our Wednesday with highs in the mid 50s! There will be a mix of sun and clouds to start off our Thanksgiving and temperatures will gradually warm up throughout the day. Looking ahead towards this weekend, we remain cool and dry with highs in the upper 50s and lower 60s. Starting off next week cooler with highs in the lower 50s after a cold front that passes through on Sunday.
TODAY/TONIGHT – Happy Wednesday! It will be a very mild day in store for our Wednesday with a mix of sun and clouds to start out this morning. Overall, today will be another cool and breezy day with temperatures in the mid 50s and winds out of the NNW 10-15 mph. As we head into the afternoon hours, the clouds begin to clear out of the area and allowing our overnight temperatures to cool off into the low to mid 30s.
THANKSGIVING DAY – It will be a pretty cold start in the morning with temperatures in the low to mid 30s. A high pressure system keeps us mostly clear and dry through our Thanksgiving day with highs in the mid 50s. More clouds begin to push their way back into the area after sunset and brining us a few showers around midnight. Most of the rain should be cleared out of the area by lunchtime on Friday.
THIS WEEKEND – Things remain cool and dry for our weekend! A few clouds stick around and temperatures will be slightly warmer with highs in the low 60s. A cold front will move through on Sunday that will lead to a drop in our temperatures!
