Mississippi State Hopes to Continue Bolstering NCAA Tournament Resume on Tuesday
STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI/MSU Athletics) – With SEC standings and tournament seedings on the line, Mississippi State and No. 16 Tennessee meet Tuesday with a lot to play for in the regular-season finale at Humphrey Coliseum.
Tip against the Volunteers is set for 6 p.m. CT, with the game televised on the SEC Network. Dave Neal and Daymeon Fishback will handle the broadcast, while Neil Price and Richard Williams will have the call on the MSU radio network.
It’s also Senior Night, and MSU will recognize Drew Davis and five managers.
LAST TIME OUT
Mississippi State rallied from 13 down to beat South Carolina in overtime, 72-68. Lamar Peters had a game-high 19 points, while Quinndary Weatherspoon and Tyson Carter each added 13.
Tennessee defeated Ole Miss, 73-65. Admiral Schofield led the Volunteers with 25 points.
