Spring is Here and Crawfish is in the Air

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI)- The smell of spring is in the air, which includes crawfish.

Brewski’s worker Arthur Tate says the store get countless orders of crawdaddies per week.

“On a boil we go through maybe a thousand pounds plus. Ha, I couldn’t even tell you how many we go through per week,” said Tate.

These mudbugs are the number one seller for Brewski’s this time of year, nearly doubling store profits, bringing in familiar faces and new ones through the doors.

” Our biggest sale here is mainly crawfish. Along the same people in here every day and I guess they really enjoy our crawfish and our seafood,” said Tate.

You can pick-up crawfish and enjoy them by yourself or share with friends.

Sharing them with friends at crawfish boils is what Brewski’s says brings in so many customers.

“We do a lot of crawfish boils ,matter of fact, we have one today and we are constantly selling crawfish,”said Tate.

Crawfish season lasts through July.
