Registered Sex Offender Arrested During Compliance Check

LEE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Lee County Deputies make an arrest following 60 Sex Offender compliance checks.

Earlier this week, David Diaz was arrested for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender.

Diaz’s bond is set at $1,000.

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office says there are 180 registered sex offenders in the county and check on them often to ensure the safety of other residents.

And although an arrest was made during the checks, 4 others are wanted for failure to comply.

Jackie L. Clark, 50.

Evan Cortez Foster, 31.

Teresa Olivia McGaughy, 55.

Justin M. Kendrick, 30.
