Gaston Sentenced To 3 Life Sentences
LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A West Point man is ordered to serve three life sentences and 105 years in prison.
Lowndes County jurors found Autravious Gaston guilty on eight charges, which included armed robbery, kidnapping, and sexual battery.
Judge Jim Kitchens hands down the sentence this morning in Lowndes County Circuit Court.
Gaston robbed the Sprint Mart on Military Road in February 2015. He then held two store clerks against their will and sexually assaulted them.
A short while after the crime, Gaston was found hiding a West Point apartment.
He still faces charges in Clay County.
