OCH hosts Baby Boomer health fair
STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – The nation’s largest living adult generation is either already retired or approaching that stage.
OCH Regional Medical Center is making sure Baby Boomers get acquainted with services available to them.
The hospital hosted a “Senior Expo” Tuesday. More than two dozen organizations set up booths at the Starkville Sportsplex.
There were free health screenings, games, and prizes.
The goal was to encourage senior to live more active, healthy lifestyles.
“You don’t think about his many booths being set up for just benefitting seniors and it’s really wonderful and we have a great crowd today so it’s fantastic,” says retiree Stan Maynard.
Tuesday’s health fair was part of the National Hospital Week celebration.
