Jaws Of Life Free Driver From Overturned Truck
OKTIBBEHA COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – An overturned truck and a trapped driver forced crews to use the Jaws of Life today in Oktibbeha County.
Just after 3 p.m. today, February 6, volunteer fire crews responded to a one vehicle accident on New Light Road.
Fire Service Coordinator Kirk Rosenhan says, the truck ran off the road, rolling down a roughly 20 foot embankment.
With the driver trapped inside, crews used the Jaws of Life to open the roof of the truck.
The driver was then carried up towards an ambulance and taken to OCH for treatment.
Central Adaton and Sturgis fire crews helped the Central Oktibbeha County Fire Department with the rescue.
