VIDEO: A Fourth Person Arrested In Connection To West Point Shooting

WEST POINT, Miss. (WCBI)- A fourth arrest is made in connection to the January shooting that left one man in critical condition.

William E. Gaines, 24, of Fayette, Mississippi, was arrested Thursday morning by the U.S. Marshal Fugitive Task Force.

He’s being charged with aggravated assault.

Three other men were previously arrested and charged in the shooting.

Jennerrio Jones and Tymotheus Henry were charged with aggravated assault.

Both are out on bond.

Joshua Ewing is charged with accessory after the fact and remains in the Clay County Jail.

The shooting happened back on January 13th on 5th street.

Officers found a man with several gunshots when they arrived on scene.

Police said the victim has since been released from the hospital.

Gaines bond set at $200,000.
