Woman Charged For Death Of Her Infant Child

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – A Starkville woman is charged with second degree murder in the death of her infant child.

An Oktibbeha County grand jury indicted Latice Fisher on the murder charge.

The baby died in April of last year.

Court documents allege that Fisher killed her child without premeditation and with a depraved heart.

Fisher was hired in February 2017 as a dispatcher at the Starkville Police Department.

Mayor Lynn Spruill says Fisher’s employment status is currently a personnel matter.

Fisher’s bond was set $100,000.

Her court date is set for April.
