Argument Sparks Chase & Gunfire

CALHOUN COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)- An argument leads to gunfire along a busy Calhoun County highway and pursuit.

Taboris Bobo, 24, is charged with two counts of Attempted Murder, Child Endangerment and Felony Fleeing.

Sheriff Greg Pollan says the argument started between three people; Bobo, the mother of his child, and another man.

Everyone left the scene then a chase started between the victims and Bobo.

Pollan says that’s when at least one shot was fired on Highway 8 East.

Investigators believe Bobo’s child was inside the vehicle with him when the gunfire happened.

After a pursuit with law enforcement, Bobo was arrested at his parents’ home.

His bond is set at $50,000.
