Fatal Crash Under Investigation

LEE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)- An investigation is underway after a fatal crash in Lee County late Tuesday evening.

The crash happened just after  6 p.m. Tuesday on Highway 45, north of Saltillo.

The Lee County Coroners Office says 41-year-old Tyronza Ashby, of Tupelo, died in the crash.

Reports indicate the car he was riding in left the roadway and struck a tree.

Ashby was pronounced dead at the scene.

The coroners office is investigating.
