Loden Takes New Job

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – Former Tupelo Public School District Superintendent Dr. Gearl Loden is moving his career to Missouri.

Nixa Public Schools says Loden will lead that district beginning July first of next year.

Loden will retire from TPS at the end of this school year, where he has served for six years.

He made the announcement last week.

In a press release, Loden said Nixa has a high level of academic excellence in Missouri and across the nation.

He has 28 years in education.

Nixa, Missouri is about 15 miles south of Springfield and just north of Branson.
