Boil Water Notice Issued for Hamilton

HAMILTON, Miss. (WCBI) – Customers of the Hamilton Water District in Monroe County are under a Boil Water Notice until further notice.

The system suffered a pressure loss during the recent storm.

Residents are advised to boil their water or use bottled water until the Advisory is lifted.

You should use boiled or bottled water to: brush your teeth; wash dishes or food items; make ice, drinks, or juices.

You can wash your hands and bathe as normal, as long as no water is swallowed.
