Second day wraps up for Starkville mayoral challenge

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – Day Two of testimony ends in the Starkville Mayor challenge.

Local attorney Johnny Moore is contesting the result of the election.

Mayor Lynn Spruill has been in office since being certified as the winner in May of last year.

Testimony continued today, April 10, in front of Special Judge Barry Ford regarding the ballots Moore claims to be in question.

The trial will resume Wednesday morning.
