Video: North Blanks South In 2017 Bernard Blackwell Classic

WATCH: Points were at a premium in the 2017 Bernard Blackwell Classic, and Tupelo senior kicker Josh Smith led the way for the North All-Stars, defeating the South All-Stars, 13-0.

Smith hit both of his field goal attempts, as well as pin a punt at South’s one-yard line. A defensive stop after the punt led to the only touchdown of the game, a nine-yard rushing score from North Pontotoc’s Clark Mills.

It’s the first shutout in the high school football classic since 2000.
