VIDEO: Investigation Underway After Body Was Found At Lake Lowndes State Park

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)- An investigation is underway after a body was found in a wooded area at Lake Lowndes State Park.

Investigators were called out to the area near the Multipurpose Center early Thursday afternoon.

Lowndes County Coroner Greg Merchant wasn’t able to release any other information, as investigators are still notifying family members.

The case is still under investigation.
