Complaint Free Day
TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – One city in our area will be “Complaint free” the day before Thanksgiving.
For the second year in a row, Wednesday will be “Complaint Free Day” in Tupelo. A proclamation will be issued during this evening ‘s council meeting making that official.
The idea comes from a book titled, “A Complaint Free World,” and encourages readers to get their entire cities involved, by challenging people to be complaint free for three weeks, and making that a habit.
This year, organizers are giving what they are calling “Good Things Jars” to council members and other city leaders.
“Everyday, that you will jot down on a piece of paper, the good things that have happened to you in your life that day, put it in your jar and next November, empty your jar out and re read all the good things that have happened to you in your life and I think you will be amazed,” said Cecelia Palmer, who helped organize “Complaint Free Day.”
And be advised, signs will be posted at Tupelo City Hall Wednesday naming it a “No complaint Zone.”
