Ongoing Investigation Leads To Arrest And Five Pounds Of Marijuana

WINSTON COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – An ongoing investigation led to a drug arrest in Winston County Friday afternoon.

The Winston County Sheriff’s Department arrested Cedrick Clark on drug charges at an Ivy Avenue apartment.

Winston County Chief Deputy Keith Alexander says Clark’s arrest led deputies to finding five pounds of marijuana, a sum of cash, and a gun at the apartment.

Alexander says Clark made bond on Friday and is out on a $25,000 dollar bond and an old county fine.

Clark has been convicted on drug charges three previous times.
