Clay County Aggravated Assault Arrest

CLAY COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A bar fight in Clay County sends one man to the hospital and another to jail.

Raheem Johnson, of West Point, was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault last night, November 9.

Clay County Sheriff Eddie Scott says the victim was reportedly struck in the face by a beer bottle.

The victim was later transported to Med-One in Memphis for facial reconstructive surgery.

Johnson is awaiting a set bond at the Clay County Detention Center.
