Rain Ends This Morning; Sunshine Returns.

TODAY: The back edge of the rain should push to our east by 8 am. Then a fairly rapid decrease in cloud cover. Most spots become mostly sunny in the afternoon. Highs in the low 60s. North wind 6-12 mph. Overnight, mostly clear, with lows in the upper 30s.

FRIDAY: Nice and cool. A reinforcing cold front pushes through, but there’s not going to be any moisture for the front to work with. Highs in the mid 60s under sunny skies. Clear and cold overnight, with lows in the mid to upper 30s.

VETERANS DAY: We stay sunny and pleasant through the start of the weekend. Highs in the upper 60s. Overnight, a few clouds, with lows in the low 40s.

SUNDAY: Another weak upper level disturbance and cold front push through. Latest model runs tend to be weaker with the upper level disturbance and a drier frontal passage. For now, I’ve backed the rain chance off to 20%, but a couple of isolated showers will be possible. Otherwise mostly cloudy, with highs in the mid 60s.  Overnight, mostly cloudy with lows in the upper 40s.

NEXT WEEK: We stay dry and sunny through Tuesday, with a relatively temperate airmass in place through mid-week.  There’s a chance for a few showers on Wednesday, but for now we’ll hold the rain chance on the lower side of things as forecast confidence for days 5-7 remains lower.
