Cooler Conditions Sticking Around
TONIGHT: Look for overcast skies to continue. A few spotty showers are possible but most spots will not get any rain. Lows will be in the low to mid 50s as northerly breezes between 5 and 15 develop.
WEDNESDAY: Mostly cloudy skies are on track. Rain showers will become more likely during the afternoon and evening as an upper level disturbance moves in from the west. Highs are going to be mainly in the 50s but a few spots may get into the low 60s. The rain chance is 50%.
THURSDAY: Clouds and showers may linger during the morning but we’ll all experience a nice clearing trend during the day. Highs moderate back into the low and mid 60s. Upper 30s are possible Thursday night.
FRIDAY: The region is going to remain mostly sunny and pleasant. That’s great news for high school football this week! Highs should be in the low to mid 60s.
SATURDAY: A partly cloudy and milder day is in store for us. Highs are expected to be in the upper 60s to around 70. Conditions look pretty good for the football games in Oxford and Starkville.
SUNDAY: Highs stay in the 60s but there’ll be more cloud cover and a 30% chance of showers.
