SATURDAY:  Variably cloudy skies are on track and a few passing showers can’t be ruled out. The overall rain chances lower to 20%.  Highs are going to be in the upper 70s to around 80.  Conditions for football in Starkville and Tuscaloosa should get generally OK.

SUNDAY:  Another warm and unseasonably humid day is coming our way. Look for highs in the lower 80s under a variably cloudy sky.  While we can’t rule out a stray shower the odds are low enough to keep it out of the forecast at this time.

NEXT WEEK:  We’re going to start the week on a warm note with highs in the upper 70s to lower 80s.  Some rain is possible near the Tennessee border Monday but we’ll all have a shot at some rain shower activity Tuesday and Wednesday with a passing cold front.  Much cooler but seasonable air is slated to return for the middle and end of the week.
