Alabama Woman Sentenced For Role In Post Office Armed Robbery
OXFORD, Miss. (WCBI) – An Alabama woman is set to face over 22 years for her role in the robbery and shooting of a postmaster.
Angela Roy, 36, is accused of the armed robbery of the Randolph, Mississippi Post Office back in September of 2016.
Thomas Scott pled guilty to his role in the incident in February of this year.
The District Attorney says Roy contacted the post office to make sure it was open.
Then, while Roy waited in the car, Scott entered the post office, eventually shooting the postmaster.
Both suspects were arrested in Lockport, Louisiana just days later as they tried to flee to Texas.
