Longtime Head Basketball Coach Bruce Franks Passes Away

PHEBA, Miss. (WCBI) — Longtime North Mississippi and Hebron Christian head basketball coach Bruce Franks passed away, Tuesday night.

Franks had been battling Leukemia.

Winning more than 1,000 games and six state championships as head coach, Franks was loved by many in the community, earning the nickname, “Big Daddy.”

Franks was 62 years old.
