Video: Third Annual Women’s Conference
TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – One of the first female “Black Hawk Pilots” encouraged women and men with leadership principles during a conference in Tupelo.
Elizabeth McCormick was guest speaker at the Third Annual women’s conference, hosted by “New Expectations for Women in Mississippi, ” or NEW MS.
During the conference, the popular motivational speaker shared her story of how she was one of the first 100 women to fly the 18 million dollar “Blackhawk Helicopter” for the US Army.
She hopes her message encourages people to be empowered to be the best they can be, whatever the task.
“I want the attendees here to really learn how to empower themselves, so I”m going to empower them to empower themselves and their families and everyone they come in contact with so they can FLY their life and FLY, is First Lead Yourself,” McCormick said.
Guests received a copy of McCormick’s book, “The Pilot Method.” There were also local vendors with a variety of items .
