Warmer For The Weekend
TONIGHT: Clear conditions will hold for the evening but there is a chance that pesky low clouds may redevelop in some spots later tonight. Lows will be in the mid to low 50s.
FRIDAY: Any morning cloud cover will thin out and all areas should become mostly sunny. Daytime highs look like they’ll be back into the mid 80s. Heading to high school football? Plan on clear conditions with temperatures fall into into the 70s at kickoff and upper 60s by the 4th quarter.
SATURDAY: A mostly sunny to partly cloudy day is likely along with warm highs in the mid to upper 80s. You’ll definitely need sunscreen and sunglasses for the MSU & Ole Miss football games.
SUNDAY: Another warm day is on tap with highs in the mid 80s. A cold front will approach the area during the afternoon or evening and it could spark a stray shower or two but don’t plan on much moisture.
NEXT WEEK: Sunny and seasonable weather is going to take hold of the region for most if not all of the week. Odds favor highs mainly in the 70s with overnight lows in the upper 40s to lower 50s.
