Oxford Man Faces Child Abuse Charges

OXFORD, Miss. (WCBI) – An Oxford man is facing child abuse charges.

Oxford Police arrested 37-year-old Eddie Booker after responding to a disturbance at a home on Booker Road Saturday, October 7.

When they got there, Booker had left but officers were told he had strangled a family member.

Officers found him a short time later.

Booker is charged with Felony-Child Abuse.

His bond was set at $15,000.
