Carpooling Encouraged For Pontotoc Bodock Festival And Trent Harmon Free Concert
PONTOTOC, MISS. (WCBI) – A huge crowd is expected Saturday evening at the Bodock Festival for Amory native Trent Harmon.
As many as seven thousand people could crowd into the downtown square in Pontotoc to see Trent Harmon’s concert Saturday evening.
Those coming in on Highway 41 from Monroe County are encouraged to take South Main , go left at Green, to the bottom of the hill, where there will be parking lots.
For those coming from Highway 15, officers will be at Reynolds Street to direct you, and
From Main Street, officers will be parking people at Oxford and Main Streets.
“We want everybody to know, coming in, I’m sure people will come in early, and we’re ready for that, after this thing is over and it’s going to be very crowded, folks just need to be patient, it’s going to be dark, just be patient and follow directions, we will have control points at different intersections in town, just follow officers directions and we will get you out of here as quick as we can,” said Pontotoc Police Chief Randy Tutor.
The concert is free, and Harmon’s set will start at 8 pm. You can start setting up lawn chairs at 1 Saturday afternoon.
