Warm Weekend Forecast
SATURDAY: We’ll enjoy a mix of sun and clouds. A few pop-up showers and storms are possible but the overall rain chance should be about 20%. Highs will be in the upper 80s to around 90° so plan to stay cool if you’ll be out and about. Conditions look pretty good for college football in Starkville and Tuscaloosa with early evening kickoff temperatures in the low 80s. 4th quarter conditions should be in the upper 70s.
SUNDAY: Another warm day is on tap with expected highs in the upper 80s. There is a 20% chance of scattered showers and storms but most locations are going remain dry.
NEXT WEEK: The overall weather pattern is not going to be changing much and that means the last week of summer is going to be a warm one. Highs each day will be in the upper 80s to around 90° with overnight lows around 70°. Daily rain chances between 20% and 30% will exists the the higher odds coming Wednesday and Thursday. Fall officially arrives at 3:02 p.m. Friday.
