Every Picture Tells A Story With Downtown Photo Exhibit
TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – Tupelo is marking the state’s bicentennial with a photo exhibit throughout the downtown area.
Twenty poster size photos are on display at various downtown businesses and office buildings.
The photos are a project of “Blue Magnolia Films.” That company collaboarated with local business owners and community leaders to produce photos and videos that tell the Tupelo story.
That project is part of the bicentennial celebrations taking place Thursday evening.
“This is Tupelo’s version, it’s our story telling, through photographs and different aspects of our community, all parts and pieces that have come together to make Tupelo what it is and to tell the story of the Tupelo spirit,” said Debbie Brangenberg, director of the Downtown Tupelo Main Street Association.
Those photos will be on display at least through the end of this year.
