Video: Shooting investigation underway in Columbus

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI)- One person was shot twice in a shooting at the King’s Court Chevron station at 14th and Main, according to Columbus Police.

The shooting happened just before 8:30 Friday evening. City spokesman Joe Dillon says early indications are that the victim and shooter are related, and the shooting may have started as a domestic situation.

One person is in custody.

The victim was taken to Baptist Memorial Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

The incident is still under investigation.
