Video: Sen. Wicker Says North Korean Leader Is ‘Unstable’ But Not ‘Suicidal’

OXFORD, MISS. (WCBI) -A United States Senator from Mississippi says he believes North Korean leader Jim Jong Un is unstable, but he doesn’t believe the communist leader will strike the U S or its allies.

Recently, North Korea fired a missile , that flew over Japan, which fueled tensions between North Korea, the United States, and its allies.

North Korea’s leader has threatened to strike the United States, or one of its allies.    Senator Roger Wicker says he doesn’t believe the communist leader will strike.

“Kim Jung Un is evil and he’s dangerous, I don’t think he’s suicidal and as long as he doesn’t intend to commit suicide, by attacking the United States, or an American ship, or one of our allies, I think we can continue to work diplomatically to clip his wings,” Sen. Wicker said.

Senator Wicker believes continued economic sanctions will be a deterrent to the North Korean leaders.
