Man Pleads Guilty to Armed Robbery in Lowndes County

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)- A second man pleads guilty in several Lowndes County armed robbery investigations.

Christopher Tate will serve 10 years in prison.

He pleaded guilty to one count of armed robbery.

Two other charges were retired.

Curtis Clay has also pleaded guilty in connection with the armed robberies.

They occurred in May 2016.

A third man was also arrested at the time.

Investigators believe they robbed the Country Mart on Highway 182 and Food Mart on Land Road.
