TODAY: Very hot and humid. Highs in the low to mid 90s, with heat index values climbing to between 102° and 107°. A few widely scattered showers and thunderstorms possible, particularly after 11 AM. Chance of rain around 30%.
TONIGHT: Variably cloudy. A lingering shower or storm possible through around 10 pm, then a few isolated showers possible after 2 am. Lows in the low to mid 70s.
WEDNESDAY: Scattered to widespread showers and thunderstorms. Highs in the upper 80s to around 90°. Heat index values will climb into the upper 90s and low 100s. Shower and storm coverage around 60%.
THU/FRI: Much more pleasant weather in store. Lower humidity means heat index values won’t be a factor, and highs will remain in the mid to upper 80s. Overnight lows will dip into the 60s.
WEEKEND: A few scattered showers possible over the weekend, with highs in the upper 80s. Rain chances 20% Saturday and 30% Sunday.
MONDAY: Remnant moisture of a tropical system move through the area. Scattered tropical downpours and a few embedded thunderstorms are likely. Highs in the mid 80s. Rain coverage around 50%.
