Four Charged with Possession in Monroe County

Monroe County, Miss. (WCBI)- Monroe County Sheriff’s Department nets four arrests over the weekend.

Carissa Bethany Griggs, 28, Amory, was arrested on Friday, August 18, 2017 and charged with one count of possession of controlled substance. Brianna Alora Gray, 23, and Jeremy S. Flurry both of Smithville were also arrested Friday, and each are charged with one count of child abuse.

Brac David Wright, 33, Aberdeen, was arrested on Saturday, August 19, 2017 and charged with one count of possession of controlled substance.

The four offenders are currently in the Monroe County Detention Center, with Griggs and Wright awaiting arraignment.
