Video: ‘Thacker Mountain Radio’ Comes To Our Area

TUPELO, MISS. (WCBI) – A statewide radio program will come to our area, with music, literature and food.

The “Thacker Mountain Radio Hour” will tape a segment Saturday evening at Tupelo’s Link Centre.

The program will feature music, and literature and will be played next Saturday on Mississippi Public Broadcasting.

Doors open at 7, but there is a special pre-show dinner.

“The best part about it is it’s a free concert, so it’s opened to the public.  There is a little special event for us, we use the opportunity to showcase the culinary arts as well so we offer a pre show dinner at 6 pm downstairs in our reception hall and because both of our guests, musical guests are from New Orleans, we are offering food with a New Orleans flair,” said Melanie Deas, executive director of the Link Centre.
