BREAKING: Body Found in Tupelo Apartment

TUPELO, Miss. (PRESS RELEASE) – Tupelo Police were dispatched today around 12:30 p.m. to reports of a body discovered at Westwood Apartments on South Lumpkin Street.

Upon arrival, officers found the body of a black female, who appeared to have been shot. Detectives are on the scene as an investigation continues.

The victim’s identity is not being released at this time.
