Some Relief From The Heat Is In Sight

WEDNESDAY NIGHT: Once again, we’ll have mostly clear skies overnight, but the humidity will remain. Temperatures will be in the mid 70s.

THURSDAY: Another hot afternoon with abundant sunshine. The sunshine and minimal clouds will allow temperatures to climb into the mid 90s. A great day to head out to the pool or lake and enjoy the sunshine while it lasts. Make sure if you do have any outdoor plans to use sun protection and stay hydrated. Temperatures overnight will be in the low to mid 70s.

FRIDAY: A cold front will begin to push in from the plains and will bring a little bit of relief from the heat. Rain chances are relatively high though, around 60%. Most everyone will see some steady rain at some point on Friday, but skies will begin to clear for the overnight hours. Temperatures will top out around 90 in the early afternoon before the rain moves in later, quickly dropping temperatures.

SATURDAY & SUNDAY: Once the cold front has passed through, our high temperatures for Saturday and Sunday will only be in the mid and upper 80s. Dew points will drop as well, making it actually feel quite pleasant for the weekend. Overnight lows will also feel very refreshing in the mid and upper 60s. Rain chances are minimal, only 20% on Saturday and we will likely stay completely dry for Sunday.

NEXT WEEK: A drier pattern looks to prevail again as we’ll see mostly sunny skies with a minimal chance for afternoon showers and storms. Temperatures will also return back to normal, to the low 90s.
