Robbery Suspect Description Released

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – A store was robbed Monday night and Columbus Police are asking for the public’s help identifying the suspect.

Around 9:30 PM, a man walked into the Shell convenience store at 9th Street and Main Street and displayed a handgun, demanding money.

He left the store shortly afterwards with an undetermined amount of cash and ran south on 9th Street.

The suspect is described as a black male with dreads, around 5’8″ with a medium build.

He was dressed all in black with a white cloth covering his face.
