Tupelo Teens Charged As Adults

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI)- Two teens are behind bars tonight- and both are being charged as adults.

The Tupelo Police Department has charged 16 year-old Jarquarius Cherry and 15 year-old Rondarrian Ward, of Tupelo, with Armed Robbery.

The incident occurred at Theron Nichols Park on Mitchell Road.

A handgun was used during the robbery- a cell phone and money were taken from the victim.

Lee County Youth Court Judge Charles R. Brett set bonds at 100 thousand dollars for each of them.
