Video: Fulton Honors Four Longtime Employees As They Retire
FULTON, MISS. (WCBI) – The city of Fulton honors four longtime employees who are retiring.
A reception took place at the Itawamba County Development Center for Mayor Lynette Weatherford, City Clerk Lisa Russell, Park Director Mickey Russell and Police Chief Reggie Johnson.
All four are retiring after long careers with the city. In fact, all have worked for the city for more than 25 years.
Fulton’s incoming mayor says the four longtime employees have had a positive impact on the entire area.
“It’s hard to replace people like that, they’re good people , good friends and it will be hard to replace people like that,” said incoming Mayor Barry Childers.
All four have worked with their predecessors leading up to their retirement. They have more than 100 years of service among them.
