Power Outages, Flooding Hit North Mississippi Counties

MISSISSIPPI (WCBI) – Heavy rains poured onto downtown Columbus about 1:00pm Friday afternoon.

Dark clouds could be seen before the rain fell.

A number of power outages were reported by 4-County Electric Power Association in Choctaw, Clay, Oktibbeha, and Lowndes Counties.

There were also reports of some flooding in Starkville.

No major damage was reported.
